I hold my hands up - I have been a grumpy cow. I still am, it's no good denying it. I really don't know what has brought on this mammoth, three-day hissy fit.
Let's just ignore that part of me for a while (maybe my moody alter ego will go away) and focus on something else: a new series I'm launching.
Yes folks, welcome to Feel Good Friday! Yay! Now that is upbeat and happy. Every Friday (you guessed that bit, right?) I'm going to show you something that is lovely. Something that will start our weekend off on the right foot (not that weekends ever need that kind of help, but it can't hurt).
I might post a quote that I like, a link to a post that I loved, a picture I've taken, something I've bought, a magazine I'm enjoying, a new veg I'd like to grow. Anything at all but mostly with a gardening theme.
So, for the inaugural FGF I'm showing off a bunch of ranunculus that I bought when I was in town on Wednesday enjoying my hot chocolate in the physic garden.
These came from an independent florist that I love. They were wrapped in brown paper and tied with brown string. I was going to nip into Waitrose and buy some flowers but thought, instead, I'd support the little guy. It's nice to, but not always possible financially.
I could have gone for three amaryllis stems but until they opened they weren't exactly pretty and I wanted pretty and I wanted it NOW. Tulips were also rejected. These beautiful flowers cheer me up every time I pass my kitchen table.
* Now this will be a challenge for me. I am incredibly forgetful not to mention lazy. So here's hoping this series will last more than...cough...a week. And please feel free to mention anything that's creating your Feel Good Friday in the comments (even if it's only the fact that it's Friday). Let's share the love....
