This little daffodil is poking it's head up from a pot my son planted at playgroup a few weeks ago. As I was laden down with a lunchbox, notes, coat and still wet paintings I placed this pot on a ledge next to the front door.
And forgot about it.
Now though, every time I step out of the door, which is often, I see it and each time I marvel at it. And I remember that in just over a couple of weeks' time the evenings will, gradually, get lighter again. And so it goes.
