My friend bought me these lilies when she came to lunch the other day. She didn't need to because it was treat enough to see her. She is one of my oldest friends (I still haven't forgotten the Brownie veggie monster competition, oh no) and one that lives too far away.
When she gave me these flowers she gifted me something beautiful to look at and something that scents the room nicely. She also gave me the gift of getting into my horticultural creative groove.
I only spent mere moments photographing them, but with life being busy and my garden looking rubbish and opportunities to get outside with my camera non-existant thin on the ground, it was enough.
For now at least...
